The King’s Schools experience is built upon four pillars: academic excellence, Christian commitment, a caring community and a rich heritage. Over the past 58 years, King’s Schools has provided a high-quality Christian education to thousands of students with a mission of “inspiring hearts and equipping minds to serve God for His glory.”

For 20 years, King’s West students have visited Ukrainian orphans. We simply go to be with the kids: to play games, read books, sing songs. It is rewarding to see the joy in the children’s faces. But to meet needs in the name of Jesus is the greatest blessing of all.

We have two locations: King’s Schools (Infant Care-12) on the main CRISTA Ministries campus in Shoreline, and King’s West (K-12) in Bremerton.

In FY 2008, 97.9% of the graduating seniors from both campuses moved on to higher education. The top 75% of students on our Shoreline campus scored 379 points higher than the national average on the SAT. Elementary students scored 1.3–5.7 grade levels higher than the national grade-level equivalent on the complete battery of SAT tests. At King’s West, 35 students earned college credit through the Concurrent Credit Program.

In 2008, our athletic teams captured 14 league or district titles and three state championships. We also received the WIAA Scholastic Cup for 2008, an award recognizing exemplary scholastic achievement, sportsmanship and success in athletics and the performing arts.

Woolsey Stadium at King’s in Shoreline was renovated with donated funds, acquiring synthetic Field Turf®, a new track and an enhanced spectator area. The high school received a new central office space and newly designed student commons. King’s Elementary completed the Pre- K–Grade 4 building renovation, with improved technology, new flooring and cabinetry and new student furniture. The King’s West secondary building received new computers for computer labs, and new flooring and paint for classrooms, the central office and the main hallway.
