At CRISTA Senior Living, residents experience dignity, joy and purpose through quality care and meaningful relationships. Our two retirement community campuses, Cristwood and Crista Shores, reflect our passion for celebrating life.

In September, 2007, students at Seattle Pacific University’s volunteer club met with Cristwood Park residents to hear their life stories. As the storytellers recounted special moments filled with faith, courage, patriotism and humor, students encouraged them to write down their experiences in a community story notebook. This notebook, now housed in the lobby, contains 56 stories of priceless memories that encourage residents and visitors alike!

Cristwood Retirement Community on CRISTA’s 55-acre Shoreline campus offers residential apartment living, assisted living and a skilled nursing center. Crista Shores in Silverdale, located on the waterfront with breathtaking water and mountain views, offers residential- and assisted-living apartments. Both communities offer a variety of services, activities and amenities.

In FY 2008, Crista Shores upgraded its entire building exterior—from roofs and siding, to windows and decks— while sustaining a dynamic ministry to its 180 residents. Now, the inviting interior living environment is complemented by a beautiful Northwest-lodge exterior.

Intergenerational connections are an exciting aspect of CRISTA Senior Living. This April, residents in Shoreline experienced the “USS CRISTA Cruise,” when King’s High School students transformed one community building into five tropical islands and a cruise ship. Crista Shores Assisted Living residents enjoyed visits from preschoolers at the Martha and Mary Early Learning Center.

This spring, we introduced new names for our Shoreline campus and buildings, as well as a new logo for both campuses and a new color scheme. Our Shoreline campus (formerly “CRISTA Senior Community”) is now called “Cristwood Retirement Community.” Our updated look and name reflect our focus on serving residents with excellence.
